AMG Tatakau Tsubasa OP ED

The duo Jyukai 樹海 has once again been selected as the singer for Ah! My Goddess Tatakau Tsubasa (ああっ女神さまっ闘う翼) OP and ED. The single will be on sale on the 28th November. The OP theme is 愛の星 (Star of Love) and the ED theme is ハナムケのメロディー (Farewell Melody). The single will be Jyukai 6th single since their debut.

The probability of getting this single is high because I really like the vocal and their albums have been wonderful. At the moment, it's available for pre-order at AJ. Play-asia and Yesasia have not picked it up yet.

Received Order

I was surprised to receive two parcels this morning. I would expect ARIA 10 since my friend's mum sent it from HK via air mail last Thursday. However, I was surprised to see a larger parcel from Yesasia. Yes, you heard it right, my Yesasia order has arrived. The order was shipped on 3rd August and it only took 10 days to arrive. From experience, Yesasia order usually takes 2-3 weeks.

So, the items I have just received were ARIA V10, Suzuka V15, Pastel V16, Cross Game 7 & 8, Romeo x Juliet OP and ARIA Navigation Guide. I'll write a post on ARIA Navigation Guide. Really glad that Tong Li decided to pick up the book and release the CH version.

I discovered a secret in the leaflet that came with Romeo x Juliet OP. The illustration of Romeo x Juliet was actually a sticker!

Update: Just reach home and realized that my Romeo x Juliet OP CD case was shattered. In the past Yesasia used parcel box, this time they just place the CD in between the books and wrapped in plastic. I just sent a complain email this morning and looks like another coming up. Bloody Yesasia. Just when the fast delivery overcome the failure of acquiring ARIA 10, you have another reason for me to shift my patronage.

P/S: I'm a bit frustrated that Suzuka CH V16 came out a few days ago. It's a good news but I would need to wait for a few more manga before I place an order.

Cross Game & ARIA Piano

Yesasia order arrived this morning. Very impressed, only took 5 days. Order comprises Cross Game CH volume 4 and ARIA piano stagione. I had a post on ARIA Piano Stagione previously.

ARIA Natural CD Updates

Few updates on ARIA OST in near future.

1. Blue Blue Wave Aria The Natural- Toi Kioku No Mirage Intro & Outro Theme
Intro and outro theme for PS2 Aria The Natural will be available in October. There is a sample track for download at Alchemist website. Still considering whether I would purchase the CD. The song is pleasant to listen and a poster will be attached as bonus extra.

At the moment, it's available at CD Japan, Play-asia and Amazon for pre-order.

2. ARIA The NATURAL Vocal Song Collection

Aria The Natural vocal collection will be released on 6th September. I'm thinking of placing an order on this. It is available for pre-order at Yesasia and Play-asia.


3. ARIA The ANIMATION radio CD

Just saw this on ARIA website. “ARIA The STATION Neo-VENEZIA INFORMALE” is the radio CD for ARIA The Animation rather than Aria The Natural. It will be on sale on 29th September.

AMG Tsubasa OST Order

Just received my Yesasia July order. This time the shipping is real fast, 6 days only. There's Suzuka (CH) volume 11, AMG Sorezore no Tsubasa ED2 Koibito Doushi and AMG Sorezore no Tsubasa OST.

I had a post on the AMG ED2 Koibito Doushi, so I wont write about it again.

I was a bit disappointed with the AMG Sorezore no Tsubasa OST CD. The booklet has little pictures and only about 8 pages including the covers, 2 sheets basically. Page 1 comprises the track lists, page 2 contains the lyrics to OP & ED, page 3 & 4 record an interview with Yoko Ishida, page 5 has some screenshots and the credits on last page. Though the cover art is excellent!!!

I saw a shopping note on Yesasia about a bonus gift but I didnt receive any. I email Yesasia and they said maybe by the time they acquired it, it has been gone. I even pre-ordered the OST! Darn!

Heard the tracks, not bad, considering there are diversity of flavours in this compilations. A few songs in previous compilations has been touched up and sound a lot better. I really like how they improved the "Yasashi Kokoro" theme to "Sorezore no Tsubasa" track. This version or the new track sounds very touching and soothing. "Yume no ato ni" is also an excellent tune. Glad I own it!

Aria Piano Stagione

ARIA Piano collection was released on 2nd August. The collection features 12 songs from Aria The Animation and Aria The Natural. There are 2 monologues, 4 introduction to Neo Venezia seasons, theme songs and background musics in piano version. My order from Yesasia should be shipped in these few days.

Fate Stay Night original soundtracks album has been released (28th June 06). It has 40 tracks including TV version of Disillusion (OP) and Anata ga ita mori (ED).

Yesasia June Order

Received my order this morning, 2 manga and a Disney OST. The shipping took nearly 2 weeks, the longest wait so far for my Yesasia orders. Happy to get Suzuka Volume 10 and Pastel Volume 13. Toshihiko Kobayashi added another aside story in volume 13. Since there's now raw for Pastel, I could only rely on manga volume, I wish more chapters could be included in each manga.

The other item I purchased is Disney Magic OST CD. Another music genre that I appreciate beside Japan Animation OST is Disney OST. However, the reasons I bought this CD are:
1. After I move AMG ED2 single to later order. I need to add an item to qualify for free-shipping
2. My Michael Crawford Disney Album was stolen so I decided to replaced it with something else.

I didnt lock my car properly and forgot to close my main gate. Some idiots came and ransacked my car. I lost 3 valuable CDs: [1] Michael Crawford Disney Album 2001, [2] Quest for Camelot OST 1998 and [3] Return of the Condor Heroes, Singapore OST 1998. Item [1] & [2 ]are not available in Australia anymore (at least after searching online & offline for them). Item 3 is Singapore limited edition and rare nowadays.

Nevertheless, the Disney Magic CD was worthy since it has 2 CDs, each has 22 tracks, and came with nice packaging. Though it's a 2004 vintage, I do find this a valued purchase. I have a 3-CD box of Disney 60 years of Musical Magic, it didnt comprise songs after Lion King. Yesasia has it ready-in-stock, so if you are interested in Disney Classics, have a look.

AMG Sorezore no Tsubasa OST revealed

AMG website has updates on character fashion, episode summary, DVD and CD section. I saw the cover art for the new OST and I decided to add it to my purchase list immediately. It should be out in July. Still deciding what to add and omit to my purchase list.

The cover art for Drama CD 1 looks good too but I wouldnt want to collect them. The cover arts for New ED single and Drama CD2 are yet revealed.

Manga & CD order arrived

My Yesasia order arrived this morning. Just 3 items. Pastel 12, Cross Game 3 and AMG Sorezore no Tsubasa OP & ED CD. I'll post the photos tonight though nothing new. Scans of the AMG CD can be found in previous post, except that I've taken a photo of the CD itself. I'm waiting for Suzuka V10 Chinese version, still not available at Yesasia, it's been out for weeks.

ARIA The Animation Drama CD

Also, ARIA The Animation has announced its intention for a second season. This will be one anime I'll keep a eye on. It's a change for usual stereotype anime such as mecha and school life. There's not too many cast, manily 6 undines and perhaps 3 cats. It tells the story of Undines in planet Aqua. The most attractive setting in this anime is the background arts. Though the anime may not be interesting for those who likes action, but certainly a nicely choreographed anime. I did a post on ARIA before, here.

Ichigo 100% & I"s Pure OST

Yeah, My ichigo 100% OST and I"s Pure OST have arrived. I have scanned the OST and uploaded them. So here are the link. Ichigo 100% and I"s Pure OST

The Ichigo 100% OST was bit of disappointment. I was expecting much more to it especially the booklet and also the compilations. They have included the theme song from the OVA and DVD, namely Kimiiro 100% and 4 theme songs from the Character collections. The background music wasn't that impressive, I wonder why I would go after this OST in the first place.

Nearly more than half of the 43 tracks belong to the DVD OST rather than the TVCM, it didnt even have the best background music in the TVCM (Darn!). And the last thing I want this OST to have is the tracks for DVD 4.. the crazy ichigo pants invasion DVD. Listening to it reminded me of the craps in that DVD. Those tracks that are nice to listen to are mostly associated with Toujou Aya.



The OP and ED theme is addicting for me. The background music wasnt too shabby. VIVRE is another favorite of mine. I was hoping for more pages to the booklet. Basically, just one paper with cover, double side lyrics and then the back. They should have more pictures given an OST comprising 22 songs.

I"s Pure OST Released

The I"s Pure OST is released today, 14th December 2005. The OST comprises 22 songs produced by Kacky (Marina del Ray). Watched the first DVD, main theme's ok, but I like some of the background music. I have sent in my pre-order. (^o^)

Ichigo 100% OSTs Review

I dont know why I like this "girly" manga but they are appealing. I have most of the OSTs from this series, so I'll make some comments on them.I'll put links to Playasia since they have more selections from this series.



Ichigo 100% first single is "Kimiiro 100%" (bottom left) which comprises the theme song to the OVA. The top row shows the Character Collection which comprise closing theme of the 4 DVDs by each characters and an audio accompanied by background music. The order of the character collection is Toujo Aya, Nishino Tsukasa, Minami Yui and Kitaooji Satsuki.

The one next to Kimiiro 100% is the Sweet Cafe Radio CD, probably the broadcast selection from the series radio station hours. The other two are the Ichigo 100% Drama Theater Vol.1 and Ichigo 100% Drama Theater Vol.2, mostly audio extracted from the anime TV series.

FMP OSTs Review

Full Metal Panic is too popular not to be known by anime fans. Post the OSTs for FMP series(too lazy to do for the DVDs).




I like all the themes of FMP series; FMP, FMP Fumoffu and FMP TSR. Personal favourite would be "Tomorrow" from FMP and "Minami Kaze" from FMP TSR. As usual, these OSTs can be acquired from both Yesasia and Playasia. Yesasia only has FMP Fumoffu OST and FMP TSR OST last time I visited. So Playasia would be best option for FMP OSTs.

The DVDs can be purchased from a lot of places, AnimeFan and Ollin have links and comments to them, so do visit them. Of course, Yesasia and Playasia have them too, to a certain amount.

AMG DVDs and OSTs Review

AMG Season 2 is set to be air in Japan next year 2006. So I think I'll just post some pictures of the DVDs and the OSTs. I'll add some recommendations and comments.

My interest is in OSTs so I'll make comments on the OSTs, but the DVDs are excellent too. The AMG single Open Your Mind - Chiisana Hane Hirogete by Yoko Ishida's is best for those whose only like the opening theme. The other single WING, the closing theme wasn't that appealing. AMG OST and OST2 are excellent collectibles for AMG fans. They comprise all the OST and background music for the anime TV series. The 3 variety albums would be nice additions to the collection if one is fluent in Japanese and a fan of AMG.

There are 8 R2 DVDs with 3 episodes on each DVD. The R1s are more appealing with 5 episodes in each DVD.

AMG R2 DVD can be purchased at Amazon JP, Yesasia and Playasia. I think DVD empire has R1s but MediaBlaster has only produced up to DVD 3(up to Episode 15) at the moment. Playasia has advertised all the R2 DVDs.

I would higly recommend the OSTs being purchased from Playasia(personal favourite) and Yesasia.
