Ichigo 100% & I"s Pure OST

The Ichigo 100% OST was bit of disappointment. I was expecting much more to it especially the booklet and also the compilations. They have included the theme song from the OVA and DVD, namely Kimiiro 100% and 4 theme songs from the Character collections. The background music wasn't that impressive, I wonder why I would go after this OST in the first place.

Nearly more than half of the 43 tracks belong to the DVD OST rather than the TVCM, it didnt even have the best background music in the TVCM (Darn!). And the last thing I want this OST to have is the tracks for DVD 4.. the crazy ichigo pants invasion DVD. Listening to it reminded me of the craps in that DVD. Those tracks that are nice to listen to are mostly associated with Toujou Aya.



The OP and ED theme is addicting for me. The background music wasnt too shabby. VIVRE is another favorite of mine. I was hoping for more pages to the booklet. Basically, just one paper with cover, double side lyrics and then the back. They should have more pictures given an OST comprising 22 songs.

I"s Pure 2 <回想> DVD

It's hard to find the raw for the DVD now. I'll put up snapshots once I have the raw. Meanwhile I found some information and snapshots of the DVD.

DVD 2 covers the appearance of Itsuki, the school trip, Ichitaka visit to the shrine with Iori, and the fire accident of itsuki house with her crying over the burnt Ichitaka mould. From the snapshots, there is a sign of the characters starting to deform but the scenery setting is excellent, especially the visit to the shrine.

Fujishima Kousuke

Born on 7th July 1964 in Chiba prefecture, Fujishima Kousuke is famous for his work on Aa! Megamisama. He began his career as an assistant of Egawa Tatsuya, and his debut work was "Making Be Free!" serialized on Comic Morning in 1986.

His famous work, Aa! Megamisama was first introduced in the Afternoon Magazine 1988. He is well-known as a motorcycle and mechanics otaku. In addition, Fujishima is talented in costume design, where he has previously designed the character costumes for the Villgust and KO Seiki Beast Sanjuushi ＫＯ世紀ビースト三獣士 anime, and also illustrated for the Yumina Senki novel. He was a character designer for サクラ大戦 (Sakura Wars).

ARIA The Animation

ARIA The animation was air last year but I have not finish watching them back then. There were 13 episodes for this anime. This anime by far has the best settings and scenic backgrounds. The whole story focus on life on planet Aqua, where human had work hard in producing water to make the planet habitable. Aqua, now a tourist hub with people touring around in gondolas. The professional gondoliers, also tour guides, were known as Undines.

The main character is Akari Mizunashi, a trainee for company ARIA. However, the anime featured two main characters, Aika S. Granzchesta and Alice Carroll , who were also trainee but of different companies. There were also three famous Undines acting as their mentors, Alicia Florence, Akira E. Ferrari and Atena.

One interesting thing about this anime was the constant use of their deformed appearances, which were funny (shown below).


Besides that, any cat with blue eyes were destined to be the "社長 shachou" president of a company. Alicia Florence and Akari Mizunashi were from ARIA Company, Aika S. Granzchesta and Akira E. Ferrari belonged to HIMEYA where as Atena and Alice Carroll were of ORANGE PLANET. If you noticed their name, the mangaka started all their names with letter A.

Born on 21st of June 1963 at Tottori, Aoyama, famous for his long-running work, Meitantei Conan (Case Closed in US).

His early works included 《城市风云儿》 and 《YAIBA》. His current work, Detective Conan 名探偵コナン is one of the longest running manga and anime series. It was about Kudou Shinchi, a young high school student who has incredible analytical and detective skills, encountered a mysterious black organization. He was drugged and found himself awake being a 6 years old child. He has to hide his identity and find the organization . The story revolves around his girlfriend Ran Mouri and her clumsy father, Kogoro Mouri, Prof. Agasa and a few prominent characters.

There are 10 movies and up to 400 plus TV series which has been adapted and aired. Currently the manga runs on volume 52. The manga has been serialized since June 1994. It is one of the most popular anime in Japan.

Aoyama other works include まじっく快斗 Majikku Kaito which was serialized on Shounen Sunday,publised in 3 volumes from 1988 to 1994 and YAIBA which was serialized on Shounen Sunday, publised in 24 volumes since 1989 to 1994. Aoyama has also introduced characters from these series into each other. For example, KAITO KID frequently appeared in Conan and YAIBA appeared in of chapter of Majikku Kaito.

Fate Stay Night

2 episodes of Fate/Stay Night has been broadcasted in Japan and my impression of this anime is "awesome". The consistency, the actions and the character arts should impress the viewer. Saber is my favourite character and she appeared in episode 2. Only 3 of the servants have been introduced up to recent episodes; Archer, Lancer and Saber.

Shirou Emiya is the main character in this anime, with Saber known to be the strongest of the 7 servants. Rin Tohsaka is another character to focus on, with Archer as her servant.

One of the few female mangaka in Japan. Her most famous work is ichigo 100% (いちご 100%) about a boy, Manaka Junpei, who accidentally encountered a bishoujo with strawberry panty and confessed to the wrong girl. The centerpiece of the story revolves around Manaka Junpei, Toujo Aya and Nishino Tsukasa.There are 4 girls Toujo Aya, Nishino Tsukasa, Minamimoto Yui and Kitaooji Satsuki who make up all the 4 directions NSEW with Manaka as middle.

Ichigo 100% has been publised in the Shounen Jump since 2002 until now. 19 volume of the manga has been printed. 2 novels with title "My　Sweet　Memory　of　～いちご～" and "～恋が始まる！？撮影合宿～" have been released.

Ichigo 100% has been adapted for 26 TVCM series with 2 series in the DVD collection. In addition, an OVA was produced for Jump FESTA and 4 DVDs has been released by Liverpol. Lantis produced in totalof ? CD for this series. These comprise a TVCM OST, OVA OST, 4 Characters File CDs, 2 Drama TheaterCDs and a Sweet Cafe Radio CD. Shueisha also produced 5 drama CD for the series. In addition a PS game basedon ichigo 100% has also been released by tomy.co.jp.

Other works include Liliam Kiss (りりむキッス) of 2 volumes, Akane Chan Overdrive (あかねちゃんoverdrive) of 2 volumesand かえで台風（タイフーン） of 1 volume.
