An ancient sorcerers was created a Byouma, it is a medical weapon to kill the infected or those around the infected and make it look like an illness. Even the sorcerers have died, these weapons still wander the world after centuries, infecting and killing people. Narutaki Soutaro and Izumo Momo are Shadow Doctors, trained to combat these Byouma through unorthodox means. Using magically created anti-Byouma medical equipment, they perform “operations” on the medical weapons to separate them from their hosts and destroy them. Will their special weapons and nice teamwork be enough to beat of all the Byouma in the world? Kaitai Shinsho 0 written by Kenmotsu Chiyo (2010-ongoing), currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. Main characters: Narutaki Soutaro Narutaki Soutaro is a boy of 16 with yellow spiked hair and green eyes. He is a Dark Doctor, a person capable of exterminating and curing Disease Demons that still roam around. He is rather short for his age, which lead to many people believing he is a child. Though he is somewhat of a coward, once he starts something, he will definitely finish it. His counterpart is Izumo Momo, who is a nurse and usually summons the medical weapons used to get rid of the Byouma. He likes books, and is a money spender, often picking Momo's pocket to buy old books. He is currently looking for the legendary book "Kaitai Shinsho Zero".
Izumo Momo Izumo Momo is a tall girl of around 15–16 years of age, and has long pink hair and red eyes. She is rather clumsy, but is shown to have super strength, once breaking a katana with two fingers accidentally. She is a nurse, the helper of Narutaki Soutaro. She is the more responsible one, although she is a bit of an idiot. She summons the medical weapons in their medical book, Kaitai Shinsho, but usually summons the Tsukikumo (Moon Cloud).
