Pein is the leader of the Akatsuki and was a runaway ninja`s from Amegakure. None Akatsuki members called him by his name but only use the word "leader" of it, except Konan, and his face is rarely shown. He has the greatest respect among akatsuki members and Pain was person who directs their actions. He was also created the jutsu for tails monster (Bijuu) from Jinchuuriki. He also could use a "modifier technique forms" That can replicate his comrades by using the human victims, making them able to fight an enemy without injuring himself. The result of this duplication is very similar from the original, could even have kekkei Genkai and special weapons such as the original. His ability balanced with the amount of chakra given to each of these duplicate results. When it came time to assemble, Pein can summon his comrades and even from very far by using telepathy.

Pain`s Jutsu:
Summoning Technique: This is the basic form of all summoning techniques. It is a space/time type ninjutsu. When summoning an animal it requires a contract, hand seals and the user's blood.
Chibaku Tensei: Pain creates a dark black sphere of gravity that is thrown into the sky and pulls the surrounding earth into a single point, piling on top of one another until it creates a large sphere.
Banshō Ten'in: Banshō Ten'in: is a technique similar to Shinra Tensei in that it manipulates gravity at the users will, however instead of pushing objects away, it draws them close. It is unknown if it can be used in a similar scale as Shinra Tensei or if it has the same five second limit.

Animal path (former): The Animal path (Chikushōdō) was the second of the bodies in Nagato's Six Paths of Pain.
Amplification Summoning Technique: Upon being struck by a direct attack, the canine can divide into another identical beast and increase its power. The beast can then recombine if needed, with one body carrying the heads of however many additional beasts were created.
