ARIA The Natural
Episode 22: 「その　不思議の国のアリア…」「その　懐かしい想い出は…」

Two separate story adapted from Special Navigation vol 6 & 7.

Part A
Akari chat with Aria sachou and asked it what would happen if she was not an undine. She also mentioned parallel world to Aria sachou and Aria sachou imagined itself in different worlds where it was the hero. Akari joked that the staircase might be the entrance to parallel worlds and Aria sachou believed her. She went for her practice and Aria sachou squeezed itself into the stair steps. It later bumped into the wall.

Akari came by but Aria sachou noticed that Akari had become a boy! She carried Aria sachou to the town and met up with Alice. Alice and Aika became boys while Al and Akatsuki ebcame girls. They had tea together but Aria sachou couldnt stand the world and ran away. Aria sachou got back Aria company and tried to squeeze back through the stairs. Alicia approached it and Aria sachou saw Alicia, Akira and Atena as boys. Alicia picked up Aria sachou and lifted it up in the sky because Aria sachou like it. Woody came by and brought Aria sachou up in the air and threw it up. "She" missed Aria sachou and it fell flat on the balcony. Alcia asked if it was ok and Aria sachou gradually heard the female voice of Alicia. It opened its eyes and realized it's back in its world. Aria sachou quickly hugged onto Alicia.


Part B
Akatsuki brother enjoyed Alicia's service and complimented her. He then asked if they want to listen to Akatsuki childhood story. (The young Akatsuki brother looked like the character for Roman club manga). Akatsuki thought he was an android when he was small. When his brother and he got home, they realized that their mother was not at home. Akatsuki got worried and wondered if the alien had kidnapped her. His mother later came back and gave him an ice-cream. Akatsuki went into the kitchen and asked her mother if she was real. He asked his mother about himself and she replied Akatsuki was an android. Akatsuki brother wanted to teased him and laughed with evil intention. Akatsuki got afraid and ran away.

Akatsuki ran to Woody's house but was terrified by his chocolated ice-cream smudged face. He went and hide in an alley. His mother found him and brought his cape. She put it on him and comforted him. Back in present time, Akatsuki brother taught Aria sachou his brother's special pose. Later in the afternoon, Akatsuki encountered Akari and Alicia who were in their gondola. He saw Aria sachou with his childhood pose and was shocked. Akari told him that his brother had told them his childhood and taught Aria sachou the pose. Akatsuki was stunned.

P/S:I'm not a fan of akatsuki but it was better than the first half. First half was annoying as I watched it. Next episode, looks like an episode with original storyline.

AMG Tsubasa Episode 21

AMG Sorezore no Tsubasa それぞれの翼
Episode 21: 「ああっ私が魔属でもいいですかっ」

Belldandy got her licence back and activated it. She casted a spell to water the flowers but it caused an explosion. Urd asked for the licence and found out that it was the demon licence. They realized that Mara had tampered with the process. The licence was switched and Belldandy was licensed as a demon. Skuld called the heaven but it required Urd and her to go back for the procedure. Urd reminded Keiichi not to let Belldandy used her power.

The monk came back and sensed that Belldandy was evil and threw them out. They had no luck in finding a place to spend the night. Many misfortunes befall on them. After a series of events, Belldandy couldnt control her composure and used her power. It caused Keiichi's motorbike engine to explode and Belldandy was depressed. Keiichi told her it was fine but then he collapsed due to a fever. Belldandy placed Keiichi under the bridge and Mara appeared. She told Belldandy that Keiichi would get better if she did bad things. Belldandy decided to heed the advice in order to save Keiichi. She ran across red lights, vandalized and made herself drunk.

The next morning, Keiichi got better and he confronted Mara. He then left searching for Belldandy. Belldandy felt guilty and reprimanded herself. Peorth approached Belldandy in a disguise and gave her a handphone. She asked Belldandy to call the person she wanted to call most. A public phone beside Keiichi rang and he picked it. Keiichi told her that his wish wont changed. No matter what, as long as they are together. He asked her not to escape. Keiichi then made the same wish and the wish was sent to heaven. This reverted Belldandy status back to goddess. Belldandy was overjoyed and hugged Peorth for helping her. Back at home, Belldandy and Keiichi resumed their lives . Urd and Skuld also thanked Peorth. Belldandy thanked Peorth again and Peorth bid farewell to them. Hild decided target on Keiichi. The next morning, Belldandy went to wake up Keiichi and found Hild beside him.

P/S: Next week, seem like Hild did something and caused Keiichi to be Hild's lover. I think there's a time shift since it looks like Keiichi was in high school and everyone was in school attire. Title was "Goddess's confession". I remember Belldandy had confessed to Keiichi before!

Suzuka 120 Decision

凉风 #120 決断 けつだん


Yamato overheard the girls from track team praising Suzuka for her new high jump record in US. He went to the high jump training area and looked at the pole. He reminisced the time he helped Suzuka broke her record without prior knowledge. Yamato remarked that Suzuka had progressed 6cm in one and a half year time while he only improved his time by 0.35s (from 10.98s to 10.63s). He then asked himself what has he gained from his daily track practice up to now.

Kobayakawa confronted Yamato and sarcastically remarked that he was thinking of the girl who dumped him. He told Yamato that even though all the track team members recognize him as the captain, he wont. He added that he should be the captain considering every other aspects. Yamato was surprised with his remark that the others recognized him as the next captain. Kobayakawa pointed at Yamato face and said that he wont lose to him. Mr.Sasaoka approached Yamato and Kobayakawa left. Mr. Sasaoka asked Yamato if he had heard about Suzuka's new record.He also asked if Yamato had any message for her. Yamato asked Mr Sasaoka about his purpose making a trip to the school. Mr. Sasaoka replied that he came to see Yamato. He said that he was surprised to the results for the IH. Yamato sadi that he had indeed failed miserably in the competition. However, Mr Sasaoka mentioned that his personal best record was impressive and apologized for the way he treated Yamato before. He then passed a bag to Yamato. Yamato saw a pair of track shoes in it. Mr Sasaoka said that it was a bit of a sudden but the pair of shoes was the prototype for a new product. He added that he would continue to customize a pair for him in the future. Yamato answered that the pair he received was sufficient for him. Yamato then asked Mr.Sasaoka to deliver a message to Suzuka.

On the other hand, Honoka had an outdoor photo session and she was nervous. She received an encouraging SMS from Yamato (She used Vodafone) and got happy. Back on the track field, Kinugasa asked Yamato to deliver his first message as the new team captain. From his thoughts, we learnt about Yamato's message to Suzuka. He said that all the opportunities that he had been given up to now started because of Suzuka. He wanted to Suzuka to hear something that he really want to express, "Thank you". With confidence, Yamato said to the team "Starting today, I'm the team captain, Akitsuki Yamato. Pleased to meet you." (kyou kara captain no Akitsuki Yamato desu!! yoroshiku onegaishimasu)

P/S: yoroshiku onegaishimasu can be literally translated as "Please be kind to me". It implies respect and politeness to the listener or showing your determination. In casual conversation, it usually mean "Nice to meet you" for introduction purpose. In tis chapter context, it would mean something like "Pleased to be your captain".

ARIA Natural Vocal

ARIA The Natural vocal collection is released today, 6th Sept. I have pre-ordered it from Yesasia, hope they are quick in acquiring the CD. Yesasia seems to be fast in shipping but slow in acquiring goods nowadays. I have the chance of listening to it from Nipponsei. Much to my surprise that the seiyuu for Atena, 河井英里 (Kawai Eri) was the vocal for many songs that I liked. In addition, she wrote 4 of the lyrics.

The album comprises 13 tracks; 4 tracks by 河井英里, 4 tracks by 牧野由依(Makino Yui), 2 tracks by ROUND TABLE feature NINO, a track by 斎藤千和 (Saito Chiwa~Aika seiyuu), a track by 葉月絵理乃 (Hazuki Erino~Akari seiyuu) and the last track featuring the seiyuus for Aria sachou, Akari, Aika and Alice.

I like the last song "Dekkai Shiawase Desu", especially the "dekkai, dekkai, dekkai, dekkai, dekkai, dekkai, dekkai, dekkai" by the trio followed by "puinyu~" from Aria sachou. The main vocal for the song is Hirohashi Ryou, Alice seiyuu. The other thing I really love about this album is, lyrics for all tracks are provided.

Kingdom Heart II Sora Final Form

Remember the Kingdom Heart II Sora Final Form that I have pre-ordered??

I expected it to be released at the end of September and thus receiving it in October. But it has just been released!!! The shipping is also less than what I have expected, 780 Yen. Since I am entitled to early bird discount, it would cost me 4390 Yen, rather than 4580Yen. But I'm surprised that Sora, Kairi, Roxas and Axel has been sold out and now on back-ordered status. In addition, I'm surprised that HLJ didnt advertised the valour form. Honestly, valour is more appealing with the read colour, but the key baldes are not that nice compared to those yielded by the final form.

Hope to receive it in two weeks time. Let's see if Yesasia would be first to ship out my ARIA vocal collection or HLJ would ship the figure first. And see which get here first.

AMG Tsubasa Episode 20

Episode 20: 「ああっどんな場所でも二人ならっ」

Belldandy's goddess power has been suspended due to the last incident. Ootaki and Tamiya came and asked Keiichi if they could put their stuffs at Keiichi residence for a week. Keiichi agreed and to his surprise, the whole gang from the dormitory arrived. The dormitory was under restoration and they need somewhere to put their belongings. Later, Megumi, Chihiro and Sayoko also came for storage. The whole house was packed with boxes. Belldandy had a hard time lifting and carrying heavy boxes without her powers. Skuld created a Quantum Space Expander device. Skuld activated the machine and the room expanded around them. The device manipulated the space-time theory for expansion. Keiichi was amazed but Urd & Skuld escaped from moving the boxes.

A short time later, the room has been filled up and Keiichi decided to expand the room. He fiddled with the controller and they ended up in the middle of a infinite vast room. Urd came by and was shocked to see the vast room. Skuld said that Belldandy's power has been suspended and they cant track Keiichi and her. The battery of the device would last for 6 days and they were worried if Keiichi could survive that long.Meanwhile, Keiichi and Belldandy were enjoying themselves, talking to each others. Belldandy apologized to Keiichi for her inability to help. Keiichi comforted her that he might no be able to understand her feelings without her power, but he promised that he would always be there for her. Belldandy thanked him.

Urd asked Skuld to create a machine to fast-forward time but it would take 6 days to build. On the other hand, Keiichi’s stomach begins to growl with hunger. He pounds the floor with frustration. He then realized that the crawlspace underneath was not affected by the expansion. Although Belldandy mentioned a possible alternate universe effect, Keiichi decided to proceed. He saw a pair of glowing eyes and was terrified. It turned out to be Mehumi's cat. They escaped the room and reached the front-yard. Urd and Skuld were still trying to think of a solution.

ARIA and AQUA

Received my ARIA manga order. Didnt notice the post office address and went to the usual post office nearest to my house. They sent to order to the post office that's 10 minutes drive, rather than 3 mins drive one. Talk about common sense!

I purchased ARIA manga volume 1-8 and AQUA 1 & 2, all CH edition. But I didnt get them at Yesasia. Yesasia would have cost US$80 for them. Besides, they dont have stock for ARIA 7 and AQUA 1. I have a search online and purchased them through ebay. The only concern was that I have to use EMS, which cost me $US30. An extra 5% paypal was also pass on to me. But the seller has been very responsive and helpful. They are of Taiwan version but I'm fine with them since I can read both simplified and traditional CH. I'm glad I purchased them.The scans for the cover art can be found at animepaper so I wont scan them.


Also Kozue Amano third artbook, Cielo was released on 30th August. HLJ advertised it for 2981 Yen or US$25.50. But the shipping will be expensive due to the weight of the book.
